I have the disc version paid off (I'm so glad they gave it a disc release in the US this time), and I'll be picking it up tomorrow, most likely.

I cancelled my preorder, will just pick it up in January once the Vita version releases aswell - I won't be playing it much on the PS3 anyways, already have a load of games on my list.

I don't know much about it but they did describe it as a general tower defense type of game but in the style of the old games' formula. They said it won't be like A4O. Online looks fun and I'm really excited to fight the final boss after it was revealed who he was earlier this month.

I pre-ordered the game 2 weeks ago but I'm not sure if I'll play it tomorrow or keep playing PSAS. Everyone I know who is getting FFA aren't going to play it day 1. I kind of want to wait until they get it so we can play together.

I can assure you guys, as someone who played the beta, that FFA is as pure an R&C game as you can get. The Tower Defense elements are a major facet of gameplay, but they definitely add to it. And this comes from somebody who agrees that A4O was the worst in Insomniac's R&C portfolio. If you liked CiT, you should like this one.
