I rage quitted once, only because some kid was going "Oooooooooh" every time he hit someone. Edit: I've faced tons of rage quitters, most of the time it's not the host, which is good.
Their is a mute button.
I quit because sometimes i can only see one other player playing when i supposed to be seeing 3, or when i kill someone and then the game glitches out are they are invulnrable for the rest of the game.
In terms of rage quitting, I gotta agree with Andre here.
The reality is I've got plenty over 400+ kills with Parappa because I stick with every match. There are some, SOMEWHAT understandable reasonings for rage quitting. But even in the moments that are justifiable, I've stuck with every game. The only matches that I've disconnected from have been because of my internet connection. I've never actually quit a match. Clear Internet (my ISP) has, lol.
When play UMVC3 and I'm on a 9 game win streak and someone rage quits and prevents me from getting 10, I get mad. Last night a buddy of mine and me played this game for about 2 hours. In that time we got numerous win streaks. But on our best, the one which we got 12 games in a row, at least 5 matches were rage quit from. It's really upsetting when there's 30 seconds left in the match, and you just wanna see what your K/D ratio is, and some jerk just decides that the last 2:30 minutes weren't worth their time.
All it shows it that you can't take a loss. I've taken plenty of losses over the years in numerous games. For some reason most people don't seem to understand that losing is actually how you get better.
The biggest problem is that there is not a system in this Beta keeping track of your wins. So if you lose, it's not like you're losing ranking! Anyways, I guess there's nothing we're ever going to be able to do to change the way people treat online gaming. Either way, here are my two cents.
