PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale

I wanna know if I can use my vita as a PS3 controler or something like that and how, I mean, can we play just like the E3 presentation? The same battle but 2 people using the PS3 controler and another 2 using the vita system... (I'm not mentioning cross play, because I don't wanna play against a vita, I just wanna use it in the same house, like local player)

Well I got 2 controls at home and 3 of us who play.and I'm considering getting a vita.it would save me cash on getting a3rd controller

It only works on certain games unfortunately, but you use the touch sensors on the back for some of the controls and it actually works quite nicely.
