I can't say im too excited for this upcoming(but needed) patch. The DLC, adding two new largely requested characters Isaac Clark and **bleep**, are one of the reasons i'm not that excited. Oh, and i almost forgot the new stage being released along side them.
While im sitting here trying to find reasons to be excited for the future, im getting more and more bummed up. Will this be the first and last major patch? Maybe not, but im sure some players are gonna find more game breaking bugs and glitches to cause another update for the game. Will we get a decent amount of charcter announcemennts before the games anniversary date? Most likely, we still have plenty of candidates to satisfy all kinds of fans.
But will that be it? Just bug patching and DLC for characters and stages? Is there nothing else being done for the game besides this? This is the only fighting game i play religiously and i dont know how often fighting games get updated with new content.
If the future only shells out characters and stage dlc, along with a few bug patches, is that enough to satisfy you all? For me , its not. I love that this game is getting more dlc characters, but im hoping for something a little bit more. Something to let me know SSM cares for more than they should.
Well, i think the only necessary content right now are bug/online fix patches and at least two more characters and a stage.
But i agree, Santa Monica should at least redesign the menus or add more cool content, like a spectator mode, a 3D model viewer [characters, items, stages and minions] and trophies.
Whatever they do with this game, what i'm most exited for is a sequel
