Re: PSASBR bad sales?

They normally only count shipments in their overall sales, not the actual sales. Meaning that not only are digital copies not counted, the "updated" sales come only from pre-orders and such for the first month or so until GameStop has to ship more copies (for non-big games, that is). That's how they get the CoD sales so high; there are so many friggin' shipments that they overestimate the sales for the first month and hope it balances out.

Sony already confirmed the game sold as much as they expected and that they will be planning a sequel for the future. Besides that site honestly can't be reliable since it doesn't include digital sales nor the total sales of everywhere it's released.

Think about it: Not having Crash/Spyro/Cloud/etc in this game might have saved the potential sequel.  If they went over their budget trying to get these expensive third-parties in the game they might have ended up with a gross loss and a 0% hope for a sequel or awesome DLC.  I just hope that more DLC will be coming our way throughout most of 2013, not just the beginning  =]

There is no way UMvC3 only sold 60000 copies. Just saying that cant be right.

as for this, that number seems right to me. This game will pick up som sales in january, but it will have issues breaking 500 thousands prolly. Small market, bad timing, and game sales are down on all fronts outside of AC3, Halo 4, and Black ops 2. Just a terrible year to launch this game.
