Re: Online Pass Dilemma

Sep 16, 2012

The ignorance in this topic is astounding.

You people do realize that the online pass is "DLC", right? That means, if you want to play your copy of the game online on a friend's PS3, you're screwed.

This harms both used AND new buyers, but most people seem to focus too much on the first one.

Like the online pass post to let Superbot know that we will not stand for this.

what are you talking about?? im confused on why people bring their game over to a friends house to watch them play online, or why they dont just add their account to their friends ps3. Companies do lose money over preowned, even if its potential money it doesnt matter, they still lose the money they would have had, yes preowned is amazing, i dont mind a $10 fee when i buy a preowned game, its not THAT bad, its to get people to buy the game new too, why does this matter if you guys are all buying it day one anyways? XD

If you can bring your game over to a friends you can bring your system. The ONLY issue with the online pass is if you let your friends borrow the game but even then... It's like ten bucks.

10 bucks that shouldn't need to be paid in the first place. You already have to pay $60 for the **bleep** game... do you like being used by game companies?

*facepalm* ROFL. if you are buying the game for $60 you dont have to pay for the online pass. If you buy a new version of a game you do realize it comes in the case right?

Not when you bring it over to a friend's house, then you'll have to pay another $10 so you can play online at their house.
