Omar Kendall reveals more info about Crash's inclusion

3 replies 422 views Edited Nov 12, 2012
Hey everybody, I'd thought I'd let you guys know about some news about Crash. It seems that Sony is now talking to Activision so that Crash could be in the game. Superbot knows how much people want him and now Sony themselves are working on getting him in. This seems that Crash could be a dlc character after all. I can't post a link but if you go to google and type in the name of the game it is in the top news section. If someone already posted this then I'm sorry. Lets all hope Sony can get the Spinning Bandicoot in this game and be recognized as the allstar he is

The article mentioned: http://www.examiner.com/article/another-crash-bandicoot-update-for-playstation-all-stars-battle-roya...

and the Siliconera article that has more info: http://www.siliconera.com/2012/11/08/playstation-all-stars-battle-royale-director-on-choosing-charac...

"Yeah. I have to say it’s not that Superbot is some independent developer chasing down third-party characters. This is a negotiation that happens on a much higher level than Superbot, with Sony and Activision, these two giant companies.

And I completely understand how big and important a character like Crash is to the PlayStation universe. We want to make it clear to fans that we understand how important a character Crash is to the PlayStation universe. Obviously, we try everything in our power to try and get characters like Crash."

It looks like the negotiations are completely beyond Superbot's control now. It is completely dependant on whatever SCEA and Activision agree on now.
