Now, we all know about the situation about his sudden cancelation from the game because they put it on Twitter, but could they possibly be holding back certain information? For example: Why is the tweet they put on Twitter about Abe's cancelation suddenly gone? One of the forum members had a thread about that situation, so if I find it, I'll post the link in here. I emailed Oddworld Inhabitants about Abe in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.
They replied saying this:
"We can't comment on the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale situation"? After they told the world all about Abe's cancellation, and now suddenly, they can't talk about it? Something's off. They are seriously pulling our legs on this one. I personallybelieve that they might be plling a Jaffe and are trying to make excuses so they can surprise us later on, but for now, we don't know for sure. I'll contact Sony for more information.
Seems to me like that tweet that was supposedly removed was fake/photoshopped. The guy responded to it with confusion. I don't think he would make a tweet if he didn't realise the backfire.
Agreed. It must've been a fake.
If you had a character that you were begging to be in a game made by Sony, why would you say your character got cancelled to raise more hype when all you're doing is making the company look bad that you are trying to convince to use your character? There's no way Oddworld would say Abe got cancelled if he didn't because it makes sony look bad. I certainly wouldn't want a character from a company if they starting spreading rumors that made me look bad
