While playing this game I went to the XMB (using the PS key on the controller) and when I choose the USB hard-disk I have connected to my PS3 from the Music menu it says I need to quit the game.

Does this mean that it cannot play sound tracks or just that I need to copy the music from the USB to my PS3 HDD (how do I do that?)

just tried it with all my music on the PS3 hardrive, it seems like it doesn't support it. Shame as I swore I saw someone say it was going to be included.

It supposedly had it on the box that it supported custom soundtracks. At least the vita does.

Ah, then it's a Vita only feature because it is supported by the hardware itself.

On the PS3, the game needs to explicitly support it. No wonder it doesn't work on the PS3.

I'm kinda disappointed though

I am too. I have both games and I remember hearing it from somewhere as well. Hopefully they patch it in. I remember killzone 2 having it then it was removed on killzone 3 and was never patched in. I'm hoping that they do. Maybe someone should contact them?

Why would you want custom soundtracks when this game has an AMAZING soundtrack.

Some songs are pretty low on the volume and others don't sound as epic. Toro's level 3 super is kinda lame no matter how awesome I think he is.

It does, in the main menu have a great track.

I don't like the music in any of the other levels, I love the theme but having an option to play our own music can't be bad.. I mean if you love the game's music, keep it, otherwise choose your own. It doesn't hurt anyone to have it as an option.

Why you are experiencing this is issue is because the only way to use Custom Soundtrack is if you are selecting Music that is saved onto your PS3's hard drive. in NO game can you use custom soundtrack with a USB device.

What I'd suggest going is before playing the game, copy the music you want to use with custom soundtrack onto your PS3, and then select that via the XMB in game.

Hopefully that'll work. I haven't tried to use custom soundtrack in this game myself, but this is what I think will work.

tried it with the music in my sysstem and it doesn't work, o well didn't really need it
