New DLC solution?

9 replies 256 views Edited Feb 28, 2013

Since there's a whole lot of hate towards it (more towards Zeus) Here's an idea that might be shot down fast.

Make it free for limited time like the first, but make it like 4 days?

I know that someone will bring up GOW Acension, but you can still get the code when you get GOWA.

I know not EVERYONE got the first DLC before the deadline when it was free, so making the time for this DLC less will most likely make more people miss out on it.

That's when GOWA comes into play, you can give your code away to a freind who missed the deadline while you got the DLC in it's limited time free period.

Isn't the game all about fun and getting people into it? This seems like a really good idea (IMO).

The fact of the matter is that while the devs are trying to give us fun characters, they do also want to hype up some upcoming games. It would help set a precedent for other characters other IPs have upcoming games for. The price won't change

I forgot to add that PSASBR gets attention when they include hyped up game characters as well.

But everyone already had hype for GOWA and Dead Space 3. I would get hyped if they added someone I never heard of before and if they played well. Like I never heard of Nariko, Kat, and Emmett, based on thier mini stories and rival scenes, I would get some hype from Nariko and Kat games. (using them as an example)

There's never enough hype.

But to much hype and you can be let down hard. Halo 4 is an example.

Well SSM needs money to pay the developers to make more DLC, so think of it as an investment in more characters.

But 5$ a piece? I thought games wanted to attract people to make money, PASBR still has the costumes and minions you have to pay for. That money can go into DLC (after they fix the game up)
