My pre-order went like this:

Me: i would like to preorder playstation allstars battle royale.
GS employee: (types stuff in) ok how much do you want to put down.
Me: Just want to make sure you are preordering the PS3 Version.
GS employee: (laughs) its a playstation exclusive.
Me: it is most certainly not, its coming out on the vita as well.
GS employee: oh, well i just put you down for the ps3 version
Me: ok well ill pay it off

Then i walked out with my preorder receipt.

All depends on the nerd working in the store that day.

Hey, am from the UK and went to my local GAME in Manchester and it had a advert poster behind the counter and I simply said I wanna order the sackboy exclusive of that and he said that's fine blah blah blah, then went on to say the GAME exclusives get ordered to store specially on order and the costume code is inside of the cover..... But I heard loads of stories about a bad experience, that's why GAME went into administration and gamestation closed down. Kids from uni wanting to pay off tuition fees pretending to know games is what I blame for it. I went in once and said can I preorder infamous 2 and the kid said I love those racing games LOL

I live in the US, so I have no personal experience with GAME, but didn't they stop selling games from certain publishers a while back? I thought I read a Joystiq article about that.

In the past 2 years of GAME's business it has changed so much and owned by so many people that no one knows where there at. At the mo, GAME is the UKs only good source off games and there hopeless better to rely on AMAZON UK n HMV

GAME are absolutely hopeless when it comes to this game. Essentially, you can pre-order in store for the Vita, but they don't have the order code for the PS3 version. You have to do it through the website.

I walked in. I asked to preorder. I gave them the $65 and was gone.
