Cool list.

Some suggestions I have would be:

Robbit vs Blasto: Both are "forgotten" PS1 characters that share a space theme.

or

Robbit vs King of All Cosmos: Both come from very strange Japanese games that have unique gameplay. (Also the main villain from Jumping Flash 2 looks similar to KoAC)

The last four rivalry pairings are my favourrite ones, especially CLOUD and Dart DD

+ I would add:

Pyramid Head (Silent Hill) + Aya Brea (Parasite Eve)

Take off Wanderer as ICO said that their characters will not be in the game as they would not do that character justice. also don't put characters from same company together. The only reason dante and nariko are rivals is cause dante is rep all of dmc and capcom. so keep rivals from same companies out.

cool list but i would add

the prince vs ezio~ both are high class, became warriors in dire situations, both had to learn from their mistakes the hard way, witnessed the death of father and brothers, both can do parkour thoughthe prince is better at it, and both are owned by ubisoft

Rau Utu + Tag ~ San Diego Studio characters
Jeanne + Arc ~ Arc? lol
Rynn(Drakan) + Rohn(Lair) ~ dragon riders
