Well, it's kind of like how people feel about Activision choosing Skylanders Spyro over Insomniac Spyro. We can't really know if the developers necessarily want to respect the classics or turn down the opportunity to advertise a recent or upcoming product. Most of the cast are in some way composites of themselves, drawing influence from across the board.
So if some new LoD title is on the horizon, this move-list could become irrelevent depending on how much Sony wants to modernize the combat-system. I said it's bittersweet because I'd love a modernized LoD.
but I broke my hand the other day and I can't really play anything, but a slower paced game like LoD is possible! So this time I'm gonna finish it!
