Re: Midnight Release

Sep 17, 2012

I remember they had a midnight release for Super Smash Bros. Brawl at citywalk. I didn't pre-order my brawl there and I only went because they were going to have a pre-release SSBB tourney. When we got there, the tourney ended a long time ago. Some Duck gave my sister the wrong information and I was pretty sad. I was so hyped.

Which brings me to my point. This game is pretty hyped as well, like CoD, I think this game will get a midnight release. Problem is it varies upon location. I didn't pre-order mine @ citywalk, I pre-ordered mine at a bloody crenshaw mall. So I'll have to wait until morning.

The good thing is, the week PSASBR is released, I will be on THANKSGIVING break. You can guess what I'll be doing all week!

Giving Thanks to play PSASBR! WOO WOO WOO! Oh and stuff myself too. Smiley Tongue

I really dont see why they wouldn't hold a midnight release. it's a big game release.

they have to have 50 preorders for a single game, it cant be a mixture, a single release has to have 50 preorders before they are allowed to

I'm almost sure GS will do a midnight release. Too bad no one goes to them down here.

I'll definitely be there for the midnight release for this. The people at most midnight releases are super chill, you get tons of free swag, and depending on the game you get to play it hours before. So I am there!

I preordered Gran Turismo 5 at Best Buy and they didn't have a midnight release. I also preordered PSASBR from Best Buy so I'm not sure if they'll have one, either. I feel like GT5 was a big enough deal to have one but I guess not.

I'm in Texas. I may go to the midnight release (I stay up late anyway). I've gotten a lot of friends into this game, one of them having been a longtime Nintendo fanboy went and bought a PS3 after he played the beta at my house. He said he didn't know about a lot of the quality games Playstation has, so he never gave it a shot. I wrote a list of games for him to check out, and let him borrow some of mine. Overall, 13 people I've shown the beta have already pre-ordered.
Why did the chicken cross the road?
