Maybe a sequel should be Power Stone-style?

Specifically, Power Stone 2 since it had more platforming elements:

Plus, it may just be more fitting since this is a 3D arena fighting game and nearly all of the Sony and third party characters come from 3D action games.

lol, no thanks.
if they don't make a sequel they can at least finish the game.

What's wrong with it being like Power Stone?

Well I think the only problem would be Parappa not being present due to the gameplay being 3D instead of 2D and it would be an even bigger problem if it was a Fully Open world fighting game like War of the Monsters, Anarchy Reigns, J-Stars Victory Vs. etc. (You've told me about this before)

Yeah, I'm still wondering how Parappa would work due to being two-dimensional but maybe they can add some kind of fire-glow to his attacks or something? It's really a minor problem that I don't think should halt the entire concept.

I still don't think it should be like those other games, though. They're just too different from the original game. Power Stone's gameplay is much more closer to it and one I think many fans would prefer over the others.

You know, I was looking at videos of Shrek Super Slam (a game that's similar to Power Stone) and the Gingerbread Man is almost as flat as Parappa so maybe it's not that big of a deal.

Now that I think about it, do you guys think the actual combat itself should be more like Power Stone or more like a Hack & Slash Like Devil May Cry, or God of War?

What do you mean by the actual combat?

Sequel will never happen while SSM have control of the franchise.
