Yeah I think it's a childhood memory thing. People want to see there favorite cartoon characters that they grew up with when they were younger. Thats why there is such a big request for cartoon characters people want to relive there childhood again.

I depends on the game. I LOVE BORDERLANDS and I wouldn't like it if the second one was too realistic looking.

 

Now between Saints Row and GTA I would pick GTA everytime because the realism fits that gamestyle.

It should be a mix of both. The more variety the better, right? I don't get why this is an issue for people.
