I highly doubt it'd add buffs (Like stronger hit-backs, longer supers, etc.) because then it would become unfair and unbalanced for many. (SuperBot said it would be balanced)
It's probably more along hte lines of costumes. Like, changing regular costumes, or even minor dlc add-ons like sunglasses or a cool necklace or bracelet or tshirt.

These are game modes or rules that can be applied? Id love to combine a couple of them like all the ap loss and ap kill steal. That would make a much more defensive game instead of everyone going for the most blatantly obvious attack patterns.

 Really, Sumo Ring could be Smash Bros-esque gameplay.  That could shut up please the Smash fanboys/morons people unsatisfied with the Super System


Sumo ring could also be what it says it is

Like there's a fixed area, and if you're out of the ring for more than a fixed amount of time, then you die?

If this leak is true then this excites me to no end! I really want to see how SB is going to take advantage of their Super system through different game modes. King of the Hill and Sumo Ring intrigue me the most.
