Lag or i-frame issue?

11 replies 172 views Edited Nov 26, 2012

So, I play E. Cole a lot...probably too much and I roll with him quite often.

I've been noticing a lot of things that happen with him that probably shouldn't be happening and I was wondering if this would be considered lag or issue with i-frames (invincible frames)

There will be times when I'm trying to evade a super, or someone's combo but it seems like about half way through E. Cole's roll he becames vulnerable again.

For example, I'll try to roll out of a cole's level 1 super, but halfway through my roll my legs will still be in the circle..but I'm still rolling away and about to be safe and I get picked up and hurled.  My supers people can just walk out of, lasst match (as I'm typing this) I just had a raiden sitting like inside big daddy and I got big daddy with my level 2, but raiden just walked right on out like it was nothing.

That's happened to me a few times, I also hate it when people grab right through my roll.

Exactly, I 1v1ed my public beta 2v2 partner and he kept grabbing me while I'd roll past him.

I thought rolls were supposed to make you invulnerable?

I'm not talking about inbetween, I'm talking about while the roll is still happening..

It's lag.

Pretty unfair too imo.

Jump-dodging is where it's at. I also hate getting grabbed out of roll, its just like **bleep**.

I'm not sure at what part, but I'm almost positive it has been confirmed that you become vulnerable at some point during the roll.

That's dumb, it's not like you have any control over the character during the roll, so in order to escape a hectic situation yyou're no better off either way.
