Really guys. How long has it been since Omar said "more than you think?" They were probably still in negotiations and probably thought they would get the characters but it just didn't work out later on.

It doesn't help that people took "think" as "expect" when the majority of this community expected like 30 characters or some other outlandish number.

LOL outlandish? Let me guess, you always thought that the right number for this game was 20, did you?

I'm talking about the people that were saying "It haz to be XX or dis gaem suks" and then requesting demanding 30-50.  It's nice to know that I should be questioned because I find a claim outlandish for requesting an insanely-high roster count.

Well starting with the fact that 30 isn't insanely high (50 is obviously). I never complained about the number. Sure 25 should have been perfect, or around it. The problem are the choices, and I'll never get tired saying that. 20 would have been OK, if the 20 characters would have been OK. Some of them aren't, simple as that. So 20 isn't enough.

Ok, I don't criticize Superbot, if that hurts you.

But I **bleep** well going to criticize the game for this, and there's really no reason not to do it.

You shouldnt criticize the game thats where I have a problem but its ok to critize superbot because they have been keeping important stuff from us and we have every right to know whats in the game.

I was just saying because I get the OP's point. I criticize both Superbot and the game, actually. My point was that if really it's proven that it's 100% Activision's fault and Superbot is clean, I wouldn't criticize them for the choices of the roster. But I'd criticize the roster itself anyway, you can't simply just walk away with "**bleep** happens" you know what I mean?

if the characters arent in, than it has to be activisions fault, im sure they were asking for a HUGE amount of money.

Define "huge". What if the amount of money requested was reasonable and Superbot just decided "Lol who gives a **bleep**, people will still buy this game"?

First of all, activision has been KNOWN to be super money hungry. I believe they even said in interviews that all they want is money, they could care less about fans. (maybe that was capcom, but PRETTY SURE it was activision). They have to buy other characters, what if the cost of crash was the same cost as like 6 other characters in the roster? Sony may not want to pay that when they could have more in the game. They have to make back the money they spend too, they cant spend millions and than only make a million or anything like that.

Find me a source of Activion saying something like that because it's plain ridicolous. It's like Apple saying "Lol we just changed the name of the iPhone 4 and sold it again because people it's stupid". That doesn't happen.

I honestly refuse to look up anything for anyone. I have no point to make, sure i could be lying and saying that but im not proving myself to anyone. It was one of those two companies that said it. It was the vice president or president of the company. I remember hearing it in an interview, it couldve been a joke since everybody thinks that anyways, but one of them said it.

Oh well, OK.

sorry lol, its just annoying how everything for everyone has to be looked up, especially the same thing multiple times. Thats why i refuse to look things upSmiley Tongue because as soon as you proof it, they still dont believe you

For a first game, 30 is incredibly high, especially considering Smash just hit that in its third game (which took about seven years to make).  I've tried to stay away from requesting actual character amounts, because I really don't care about how many people or which people are in it, so long as they play well (I've always seen around 24 as the number that I'd think would be in this game).  However, most of the people that I'm talking about were demanding high roster counts and including terrible characters (to play as) or not including characters at all.  Complaints about which characters are in I can understand completely, but I'm talking specifically about my issue with the people that are saying "Brawl had this, so we should have at least that much!", the people that expected high and wanted higher.

I didn't brought up Brawl anyway, you did. And Brawl wasn't made in 7 years lol, the development started in late 2005 and the game was released in 2008. Melee for example was made in less than 2 years (PSABR 3 if I'm not mistaken). It was actually really rushed and still has more characters than PSABR (all right there are clones, but every character from the original was completely different and if you played them both you know that, even if the moves look similar the balance was 100% redone).

Aside of that anyway, as of now I'm curious about the other contents of the game. If it's really huge and full of modes and easter eggs or something like that, it would be excused by me.
