I don't think anyone ever said Platinum Games was going to do anything and why would Konami pull Raiden from the game when they put him in there?

and I've seen similar statements in the other threads regarding this that popped up a few days ago

I think it was more of a hypothetical point illustrating the fact that no one is forcing Raiden to be in this game. But that poster also misses that fact that while Platinum is behind "this" Metal Gear game, Raiden is not their character. It is Konami's, and Konami has no issues with Playstation All-Stars.

So this is all kinda moot.
