Ok I'm startinf a theory, what if they do two weeks free with a couple sets of DLC and each set has a highly demanded character and a ok character. Look at how it is now
Most Wanted: Kat
Popular character: Emmett Graves
And by the looks of it these two aren't rivals, so it would sorta make sense
Aha but now you've gotta think from a marketing standpoint. They just announced one of the most demanded characters and a completely unexpected character. Kat is shown to give immediate satisfaction to all of the people who demanded her (and there were a lot) and Emmet is shown to say that anyone has a shot and there are bound to be more surprises.
This sets them up to build speculation/hype and announce an even higher demanded character (example: Crash, Cloud, or Snake) later on to an even warmer reception.
Assuming they do have an even higher-demanded character.
We would like to release more, so hopefully Kat and Emmett are just the first.'
This comment is a lot like the one in the previous blog post in which he first told a person to check back for some happy news soon, and then replied to another person saying 'if we have DLC...'.
well lets say the game gone glod afew weeks ago and the chars will be released early january still it takes them like 2 months to do 2 chars so i doubt we will be getting more than 4 chars in all since they should be working on another game from 4 months from now, most games except LBP get dlcs for like 2*3 months max and then die so i predict we will be getting 4 chars max maybe afew stages
It also makes me think of how Omar didn't seem sure if whether they were going to do one lump of DLC or support it for a long while. His answer gave me the impression that they had a big lump planned, but would support it more if there was still demand.
