Right, he can easily hit level 3 by spamming one skill and his level 3 is unavoidable/dodge-able

his level 3 is actually easy to avoid.  Air dodge is all u need.

Most pople dont know how to dodge it cause they rarely see it, unlike kratos's level 3.

That's 2v2, in order for Jak to be ffa legitimate he needs a buff badly. His only plausible strategy right now is spam forward triangle and then use his level 3.

Like hell Jak needs a buff.  He's a great character.

Most of his best attacks are designed to keep him in the air, making it harder for level one kills to get him, but better yet, making a grab against this character almost impossible.

Haven't you heard the best offense is a good defense?  Jak has the best defense.  It's because of Down O.  He's a beast against just about any character who relies on melee attacks.  Down O while on the ground takes priority against just about every attack and attacks on all sides of Jak and Daxter, even without charge.  If it's not charged it'll knock enemies onto the ground in a stunned state, if it's charged, one second the attack is much larger and has guard break..  In the air, it's a great recovery attack or combo starter.  When using it in the air it doesn't defend against your top side, however, it pushes Jak and Daxter up and backwards a bit, and where Jak and Daxter were at, the middle of the beam would start from there.  If it's charged atleast one second the attack radius is far larger.  Since it pushes Jak and Daxter in the air and backwards a bit, usually it'll cause opponents to miss while taking damage because they were attacking at Jak and Daxter, and not attacking where he was going to end up with the attack being off.

His Down O is one of the best attacks in the game.  The size of the blast needs a bit of a debuff I'd say.  It's too good.  Hit someone in the air while using it and it's a quick and easy 55+AP combo.  55AP plus AP you'd acquire after the enemy recovers that you couldn't do in the one combo.

It's impossible to dodge if the Jak player is actually good at managing their triangle and x use with the level 3. It's called speed + hovering. One air dodge ain't gonna cut it.

Actually his down O only gives 20ap. While he does have attacks that are good (mostly squares) a lot of his moves are rather weak in ap gain.

You can air dodge his projectiles but not his "bubble"

Re: Jak does not need a buff

Just because a few players are good with a character doesn't mean he doesn't need a buff. I was doing 2v2 with bluediamond yesterday (both 999 jak), and i think we won all but one game. Half his moveset is unusable, and that should never be the case in any game.
December 11th 2012: Went 12-0 ranked FFA. (Jak)
December 13th 2012: Went 8-0 Stock Unranked FFA. (Jak)
January 10th 2013: Sniped Asis_aka_talent into Jak's lvl 1. (Uncle Radec)
April 16th 2013: Caught parappa's lvl 2 with Sweet Tooth's lvl 1 and didn't die in the process (Sweet Tooth)
May 5th 2013: Got my Radec eviscerated by whaatxddd's radec in 1v1. Kmart, u better watch out.
Just learnt "Drake" and is now learning "Nariko".
