Re: It's time for the community to grow some Cojones

I DO use confirms and I'll tell you why, without confirms matches can take forever. I'm talking about 1v1 Stock matches of course.

Though I main Nariko and Kratos so I don't use confirms much. But I do support them.

I find no problem with kill confirms if only because they're no different from touch of death combos in other fighting games, if you're at least close to half health in a game like UMVC3 and you get caught in a high level player's combo you're going to lose your character whether you like it or not, MVC2. Is the same as well as many other fighting games.

As far as the touch of death situation goes this game is very kind and gentle compared to UMVC3.  There are numerous ways to kill off of the very first touch in that game.  MVC2 was worse because it could be the first touch of the game, and it could result in you losing every last character on your team.  (Think of it like losing all 3 stock from the first touch in PSASBR)

This game requires bare minimum 2 touches to kill anyone.  They did that via the AP burst system which gaurantees you cannot build enough meter to kill someon without another hit as well.

Come watch competitive and casual PSASBR play:

I like playing Dante n cole because they don't have kill confirms, there so much more enjoyable when I get a kill am like YES that was good.... But when you try and kill confirm I find my self getting annoyed if it doesn't work thinking that should off been a **bleep** kill

Just being honest
But.... I showed you like 6 KCs, and there's still more I didn't show you...

I used to think the same thing, then I hit the one good ST player... Made me rethink my matchups.

I'll use kill confirms until they are removed (which likely won't ever happen).

That said, the game would be more fun without confirms.

i mainly use sir dan's set up as a way to see if the player im fighting knows what they're doing, that test, if it hits, i take the kill, i'd be stupid if i didnt (they are kills after all), but for the most part my kills are situational

Isn't the point of those games being a unfair fighter?

If you don't have a relevant argument, don't post.
