It Might Not Be Superbot's Fault

21 replies 290 views Edited Sep 29, 2012

I mean the Characters that people are expecting and wanting are Crash, Spyro, Snake and Cloud. All of these characters are a no brainer but Sony doesn't own these characters. Activison who own both Crash and Spyro were probably asking for too much money. Square might have been asking too much with Cloud. Kojima is good friends with Sakurai so he might view this game as some knock off and decided to not give us Snake. Then again WHO KNOWS. My point being is that you can be **bleep** off at Superbot, but I think the roster is pretty good considering what characters Sony actually owns.

On the same token, why arent some other requested first party characters such as Chimera, Kat and Wander in? I fully agree with you, but you have to wonder why first party characters they had easy access to didnt make it in.

Yeah I wonder why those characters are not in the game. Those might be the DLC characters though

I feel like this goes great with what you're saying.

"While I can forgive the absence of PS1 mainstays like Lara Croft, Raziel, Spyro, Cloud Strife, Klonoa, Abe, Aya Brea, Chris Redfield, etc - as Sony doesn't actually own any of those franchises - the lack of several characters from the company's first-party catalog is perplexing."

Nobody knows what it takes to get a character in a game, people are acting like it's as easy as just walking up to the company and asking politely...smh

Well I want Ico and Journey character, and they can get them easily.

I would only want Crash if he comes with his original appearance or Twinsanity. Crash of the Titans was ugly.

Can I be frank about something, JGmon? As much as I really like Kingdom Hearts, there are FAR MORE deserving characters than Sora.

Understood. I was just giving my two cents worth. Perhaps when the game finally comes out (PSASBR), you could battle me on PSN. My username is the same as on this forum.
