So Nintendo and Sony strike a deal for a single game. Playstation All Stars vs Smash Smash Bros. Super Smash Bros vs Playstation All Stars. Sony developers their version and Nintendo develops their version. So the Nintendo version will play like Smash Bros, while Sony's version will be better

That's different for Capcom. Capcom & SNK games are multiplatform. So has the MvC series. And even Street Fighter + Tekken, in which Tekken will then make Tekken x Street Fighter which is also multiplatform.
Only way that would work is a Special Console that is designed for one game only itself. There's also Arcades but I'm sure most of the Nintendo characters & Sony characters appeared on Arcades. Nintendo's Mario sure did, but many didn't do Arcades. So only a "Special Console" would work.
