And on top of that, why were so many of them removed from earlier versions of the game? Like Kratos' Air Forward Triangle into Level 1 in the Summer beta or Jak's Up Circle into Level 1 from the GameStop Demo?

Took the example right out of my mouth!  I was about to comment, but I'm glad I looked to see if anybody mentioned Jak's confirm first.

i'm more neutral in this stance, just some of the confirms are cheap,
but i really wish we can get Superbot to comment on this matter...

Designers from superbot commented on the "Cheapest" kill confirm before the game even came out,

Oh my bad. Thanks for correcting that.

Also @ M-Pyre: Nariko actually can confirm her level 1 off of her projectile (the shield).

Also Jak's Peacemaker into level 1 still works, it's just hard to do since peacemaker pretty much never hits. It also requires moving forward if I remember correctly.

do you have a video of nariko doing that? cause I've never seen it before...

and I main jak, and I'm pretty good if I say so myself, but there is no certain combo or set of attacks one can do to get a kill each and every time. there really is non. only under certain circumstances can you get a some what of a certain kill, and they rarely accure.

but.. if you keep reading you'll notice that this is my signature.

Jak has grounded down circle on the ground facing away into level 1, but yeah it's situational. Still, it's a kill confirm. BD's is actually even more situational than that XD

While I know videos of Nariko's hit confirmed level 1 exist, I can't seem to find a video of it atm.

Re: If Kill Confirms were intentional design, then

SuperBot had in mind 2 different character types for PSABR, zoning and comboing. Combo characters have to chase down and be aggressive, where zoning characters can stay at range and poke away better at super. Now, im not saying that zoning characters cant combo, or comboing characters cant zone. But each one is better at their type. If every zoning character, aka radec, had a hit confirm that was as 'easy' as raidens.. then it partially defeats the purpose of zoning. No longer are they looking to zone better, but be aggressive to get the hit confirm.

Hit confirms are 100% intentional and there are more out there we haven't seen yet.

While I agree with the general sentiment of the above post, I would like to say that it's not all based on who's a keepaway and who's a rushdown character. I would point to Big Daddy and the Good Cole respectively.
