When Sony's comes back with an "[doesn't] comment on rumors or speculation.", it means it's 100% that these are going to be in the game LOL.

Well chances are some of the characters were for sure going to be in (Ratchet, Sackboy, possibly Spike). What were they gonna say "Uhm some of them are and some of them aren't"? It's much easier for them to just say "No Comment". So no, that doesn't prove anything.

I know someone who found a thousand dollars lying in his pocket (apparently). When questioned by his friends if it was true or not, he simply said "no comment."

Must be true. Since they analyzed his pant pockets and saw the imprint of money.
