They may have had good reason to do this. Maybe they said something like, oh they wont mind if we do part in 2d cutscenes so we have tiem to do some 3d ones rather than none. Sure hope the important ones are in 3d and the endings are important.

Besides..before we know this did anyone say or feel that "Oh yea Playstation allstars..got that comic book style to it.." Nope...comic book doesnt doesnt to mine when thinking about PSASBR. Not at least for the most part.

Inamous is super hero like, it makes sense for him.

I play many fighting games, and this was better than what I thought it would be..

It's pretty much what I expected to be honest. Very similar to what Tekken has been doing for years.

I like how Superbot doesn't give a **bleep** about being better than Brawl but being better than how most traditional fighters are introduced.

When these guys said they were fans of traditional fighting games, they mean it.

Of course they dont, they just want to make a great game for them and for fans. They are most likely tired or even annoyed by the SSB comments too

Honestly, I feel like they'd be flattered more than annoyed.  I mean, as a(n admittedly amateur) game developer myself, I know I'd feel proud to make a game that is able to be compared to one of the most successful games of all time, even if people weren't doing it for the reasons I'd like.  I mean, even CoD was a rip-off* at one point, and look where it is now in the popular eye.  (*I know that West and Zampella worked on the first MoH before leaving EA to create the first CoD game with Activision.)

I think it works well I mean a lot of fighting games have comic book cutscenes for their arcade mode, what I don't like though is that they went from being in space to Chop Master Onion's Dojo without alot of explaination.

Not a fan. I like therival scene though, but it too is a little bland. I hope the endings are 3D...

...

You guys aren't dissapointed that the scenes aren't in 3D...you are dissapointed because Brawl's cutscenes were in 3D and All-Star's aren't. Some of you  have to be the most self-entitled people I've ever seen on a forum. The whining is just way too much. SuperBot made this game for YOU and all you do is whine. What if they were too busy trying to stuff this game with content the fans are begging for to make fully 3D cutscenes? I admit, I was a little thrown off when I first saw the intro and then the leap to the dojo arena but once the match started, I was instantly over it and accepted it for what it was. Stop crying over things that aren't affecting All-Star's gameplay or your decision to get this game day 1 and grow up.
