I realize this is a stretch, but...

13 replies 321 views Edited Feb 23, 2013

Nintendo is in a terrible condition right now. The Wii U is a flop and with PS4 and 720 in the near future, things aren't looking to good. Imagine if Sony bought Nintendo, and we could have All Stars X Smash bros?

And that's the Gospel Truth Photobucket

Nintendo will pull through, they always do. They're currently dominating the handheld market, and with the killer games they've already announced for the Wii U release, it will definitely pick up. Hell, Smash Bros alone will be enough to boost sales.

I will say this - it will be interesting to see what Nintendo does at E3, considering Sony & Microsoft will most definitely be about the next gen consoles. We know there's a new Mario, Mario Kart & Smash Bros being announced, which will surely peek interest. What I'm more interested in, is what surprise they have left.

Nintendo consoles are heavily dependent on the first party titles released for them. Their sales will pick up once they start releasing Smash 4 and Mario Kart 8 and a new Ledgend of Zelda.

Something tells me with the announcement of Smash Bros, Wii U sales will increase incredibly.

Nintendo has too much money, even if the wii u flopped they arent going anywhere anytime soon. Being bought by sony? Nintendo has much more money so i doubt it. But yeah, give it time ( lets say 1 yr) to judge nintendos situation.

Yeah, it's more likely that Nintendo would buy Sony than the other way around.

lol @ terrible condition. if anything i bet nintendo is in better conditon than sony. also wait till a real 3d mario game comes out, zelda, and smash bros and watch it fly off the shelves and put them back on number 1(not that i think they deserve it, all they do is slap mario on the title and it sells millions :/) + monster hunter coming out pretty soon so sales will sky rocket in jpn, they eat that game up.
