Agreed. We got barely any screentime; but, now we know they're there, and to some extent that's really all that truly matters. Now we wait for gameplay, and then the entitled masses will complain later.

Regarding stages, it's interesting to think that each stage revealed so far, either the main stage or the "mash" has had a roster representative. Every stage except the Resistance-Starhawk stage.

Just a loose theory, but if I were calculating odds, I would definitely increase the likeliness of seeing either a Starhawk or resistance rep.

I love when people misquote to make their complaints seem justified.  I've heard the quote many times, verbatim, from Omar's mouth, and he never straight up says that they'd reveal at TGS.  Hell, the part where he could've said that is so mumbled that it's impossible to even hear correctly.
