I kind of wish

The beta leak never happened, it spoiled the whole roster for us, and apparently it somehow ruined relationships with third party devs, not sure how but it did.

well i heard that they were planning a huge reveal for one of the 3rd party chars, raiden if i'm not mistaken,

that was part of the deal, but after the leak, superbot thought they should just reveal it and have it dealt later, which was not what was agreed upon,

that's how the relationships have worsen,

that's what i've heard anyways...

I agree - I mean curiosity is human nature, so in all honesty we'd always opt for the leak if we had no knowledge of the game, but still, all things considered, the leak hurt us all.

It hurt relationships with devs - Platinum Games response to the game is proof of that.

It killed the hype honestly. Up until the first 12 (Cole and Jak) I was endlessly excited. Every character, even New Dante, would've been a pleasant surprise at that point. Then the leak happened, and it killed the hype. I know that the "only 20 characters" problem wouldn't be a problem if they weren't all leaked first.

They said they weren't happy with the way the game was turning out and I believe it was Hideo Kojima himself (or just another Platinum Games developer) that they were disappointed with how he was leaked as they were planning to have a huuuuge reveal, hoping to shock the crowd like they did with Snake in SSBB.
