The only two companies that have really done that are Capcom and Activision. Activision gets away with it because their entire CoD fanbase is full of **bleep** who just got into gaming, and Capcom has been beaten over the head about the issue repeatidly.
I can't think of any right off the top of my head otherwise.
Yep, all good until companies start becoming Activision release tons of DLC make a new game exactly like it and release more Dlc and it keeps going and going... Eventually greed does kick in and things change in the future they could make a sequel and improve the gameplay,graphics, ect ect instead of keeping the same game going for about 5 years.
Superbot could be different. Only Capcom, Activision, Arksys Games (BlazBlue), and NIS (Disgaea) distributes costly DLC to my knowledge (with Capcom & Activision abusing it).
