How many people are actually palying the game? Is it enough to sustain itself without match qeues upwards of several minutes? And is it so low that it will die in a couple of months? If so I don't plan on getting it.

I see it surviving for awhile. It has a fanbase. Look at Warhawk and see how it is still going after 5 years. This did sell less, that much is true, but I think it will survive. 

We may just be left with the best players after a year is all...

Waiting on average about 10 minutes maximum for a match but its well worth it but I think it going to change tomorrow (today for me) its because online has a few bugs in it to put people of and there's alot of game modes aswell to choose from, I think there's like 10 from ranked and unranked, items and no items etc so you gotta divide by 10 but also if you quick match and put to 'any' it takes like a minute to find a match

No way, the game takes 15 seconds to 45 seconds if ur unlucky to find a match

I agree that this game will consist of the hardcore fans, just like any other fighting game. My friends won't play me in Tekken 6 anymore because I always win. It's not a casual game. This game is a competitive fighting game in a casual wrapper. It's got depth to it despite its heart. That's what's so great about it. The hardcore fans will keep it alive online (like Tekken 6, I can always go online if I ever feel like getting my butt beat) and it can be a semi-casual brawler for local play.

Lets hope this game doesn't die out soon then because I guess I'll pick it up boxing day (on sale for 30 dolars). I really hope I don't get it just for it to die in a couple of months like Twisted Metal did, (it was a great game bud had a tiny playerbase)

its fine but I don't think many of my friends would like this and I don't want to have to call a friend over every time i want to play a game if there's nobody online
