I'm starting to think the error we get has nothing to do with who is actually hosting
Data's too inconsistent for that to be the case, it just feels that way because you were doing so great in a match and suddenly the brakes are slammed and you're sent back to the title screen.
Played a few matches about an hour ago, three of the games had people that either lagged out or quit and the game just continued. There's also the possibility that the game often appoints me as the host since I pay more for bandwith than the average person does.
I do believe that Splitscreen players (for lack of a better term for 2 players on the same machine) are automatically assigned as the host.
When I am at my house I am always host. atleast 9/10 times. but when I go to my friends house, which is often, his crappy internet never gets host and I finish like 3/10 matches. Its actually ridiculous how many quitters are out there. I guarantee half the people on these boards are, and 1/2 the people who say they never quit are quitting all the time. No way can we have so many people claiming to be honorable players and so many host disconnects.
