I played the game at Eurogamer yesterday as both Good and Evil Coles.
Evil Cole is TOTALLY different to Good Cole in strategy. I got owned the first time I used Evil Cole because I used him the same as Good Cole.
He's still Dante.
I like, though, how when we keep bringing up 3rd Party...
Final Fantasy is Square Enix, 3rd party, has just as much of a chance as Dante does...
Spyro and Crash are Activision. Again, third party. (Naughty Dogs and Activision, mind, for Crash. And while Naughty Dogs is first party he's also Activision.) And, again, Crash was also on some Xbox games, doesn't anyone remember that?
And Snake? Kojima. Not Sony.
See, while you guys moan and groan about Crash, Spyro, Cloud, Snake, and while they may be a part of the history; so was everything else on the roster. And, if we're gonna put it further into perspective, Jak and Ratchet fit more than Crash/Spyro.
Well...movesets. What would Spyro and Crash offer us, as FIGHTING GAME CHARACTERS? Spyro was known for tail whips and fireballs. Crash was known for a single attack; spinning. They just don't fit as fighting game characters. As All-Stars? Sure, but, as fighters, no.
They dont fit as fighting characters?
Just two words: Fat Princess.
(Or even Phoenix Wright)
