I agree it seems like a pretty cheap move, when an Evil Coles doing this just stay in the air or dodge, its pretty easily avoidable and predictable plus the player will be way to occupied with trying to land this one move that most of the time if you play it right you can get a lot easy hits on him as he won't be occupied with defending. Using supers as he uses the Giga-punch is a pretty good idea as you know it will be coming. I can't tell you how many Evil Coles have Giga-Punched right into my Jaklevel 1 super. its really funny

 

but it does need to be fixed asap, its the one hit-confirm I can't stand

Wrong, don't get people killed with wrong info. Giga punch's super armor eats all attacks, including counters. If you attempt to counter Giga Punch, it will absorb the counter and place cole back in neutral well before your counter animation is over, meaning that he can level 1 you before you can throw out an attack to stuff the super. Never counter cole's punch, ever.

It wont break your block. So you can block it and jUmP away if he's trigger happy. But idk, I can't stand the GP either, but that goes for every character they have that 1 move that defines them as a character.. And I'm not one to call nerf, I just deal with it.

I feel his GP would still be good, but it doesn't need to be a one hit confirm....

Why shouldnt it be? Are you going to take away toro's dive kick confirm, fp's warrior lunge, or number of moves that cause a stumble into level 1? Drake's barrel, sly's alarm clock or counter setup, raiden's 6 setups? How about good cole's 3 one-hit confirms into human bullet? How about sweet tooth's machete setup?

All of those, if timed correctly, are true combos and your tech opportunity will not come up quick enough to get out of them.

Here's the thing, Giga punch is a CRUMPLE not a stumble. Making it a lot easy to kill confirm. I could break down each exemple, maybe another day?

One got 4 kills the other 2 kills and 3 deaths so someone killed him 3 times. Nothing to get hot and bothered about. It just seems to me because you lost you cry.
