Evil Cole is a good character all around. The only problem is that most of his melee combos depend on his neutral circle being charged. It does not take long to charge but it stops charging if you are hit. I propose that it continues to charge even when being hit. The oppenent hitting Evil Cole would still get the same amount of AP. This just makes Evil Cole a tad bit more viable in melee range without having to run away to charge up. Just a thought.
His circle is fine, but it's bugged. If you're getting hit and you accidentally hit O or even purposely and there's no way you could actually get the attack off, you have to recharge it again because it ends the charge. Also, when you do certain moves, or after a certain period of time the fire goes away, but the charge will still be there...so I'll hold O to charge but then I'll fly forward with my flaming fist.
He has some combos, but in comparison to a large portion of other characters his combos are not only very very short, but give a lot less AP. I know of one combo that gives pretty good AP, but it's very hard to pull off.
I win every other game with evil Cole, and come in second on the opposite. Here's the kicker. I don't even use circle. The best combo is side + triangle, side + square, square, square, square, jump, down + square. If done right will get you about half way to level 2.
lol what combo is that? side traingle knocks them up and then you have to jump and side square then they get knocked to the ground. Explain your sequence lol. My best combo is Down square, Circle (charged), Down square, Side Square, Jump, Side Square in air, Side Circle. for 150 ap.
