I pretty much agree with everything you said, including the Vergil bit. I don't want to go into details to avoid possible spoilers, but his character 'development' was a bit oddly paced.

the vergil dlc might help explain

So you have one? I might skip this one and watch some spoiler videos.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one.

Maybe in the PSAS sequel, but it could make Dante too effective similar to Kratos or Nariko. I like to mention that the ground down triangle doesn't even exist in the game. I prefer tech shotgun move instead.

This game is next on my list then the new Hyperdimension Neptunia. I was going to get this game even if it had bad reviews.

I want to rent this new DmC, especially since everyone is saying the game is really short and not that difficult (so possibly I can blow through it on a rental instead of buying it, Im only interested in going through the story not all the extra stuff lol)

Never been into the franchise but the good reviews from critics but the terrible reviews from gamers makes me interested to try it for myself

Since I will be non-biased because I never touched the other DmC games lol

I used to love DMC....I hate reboots of games :/

IMO capcom no longer cares about their fans.
