Dante's patch augments

Hi people and thanks for entering, peep what i have

Here's what i think Dante should have added after patch:

 

  • Oris (Over square cancel in air) when held, heaves character in air with whoever it lands. This i believe, is a must because  characters like nariko have attacks where she puts you in the air with her (actually several attacks) where dantes has only two.
  • Combo off of down circle, it's and okay attack with no reward.
  • inconsistencies with smaller characters, kat included.

 

Other than that i believe dante is fine and that characters like sir dan and big daddy who both are incompetent in casual playing should have their fixes first and foremost. This is only a suggestion. Please don't bite my head off for any mistakes. Thanks

by down c i mean grounded down c variation. Two separate attacks, yet air version is heavily abused and the other one is just thrown out on a whim. At least let up circle cancel into it ...geez lol (don't hate me for this)

I like the second two but the first one actually hurts him, as he gets the most reward from having his opponents grounded. Honestly if they just fixed some of the inconsistent hitboxes on his moves he would be fine.

Yeah it's unclear to some extent. You should be able to get the gist out of it though. His side/foward/over square cancel should be able to have a lift affect when sqquare is held. i saw it done in dmc and i thought it would be just if dante had it in this game. Im typing on old computer so bare with me.

hmmmm I honestly think Dante is good the way he is. I mean your not gonna be doing a bunch of flashy combos in FFA but in 1v1 sure but otherwise your just going to be doing standard 134-145 ap burst combos for Dante but its just the incosistant of his hitbox is really the only issue i can find.

a 145 ap burst with room for a kill confirm. its on the edge of a touch of death. im okay with him doing combos, just not so outragously.

Dante is fine the way he is. If you happen to down circle on the ground it's your mistake and you shouldn't be able to cancel out of it.
