Can anyone explain to me what the "infinite" is? Are we just referring to empty canceling?
I'm perfectly OK with removing an infinite from a game that is entirely meter-dependant. But, if we're talking about empty canceling and looping Square 3x until AP burst, then that's not an infinite.
Dante can build a lot of meter empty canceling, but he's far from the only character that builds 130+ AP from a clean hit.
His "infinite" is an AP burst combo done via empty canceling the third hit of his square, square, square. If done right it allows you to repeat the string 4 times before an AP burst building 130-150 depending on how you finish the string. It also allows him to empty cancel into his LVL1 as late as the third rep or as early as the first.
