Yep, agreed. When I first saw his moveset, it seemed sufficient for someone from a Devil May Cry game (with the sword/guns and cancelling and all that). But now, after actually playing through DmC and seeing all the abilities like Angel Lift, Devil Pull, Eryx, Aquila, the Trillion Stabs, etc., you can tell how much was there that SuperBot didn't pull from.
Honestly, with all those abilities, Dante could have (and should have) been up there with Kat in terms of combo potential. Imagine stunning someone with Aquila, doing amazing air juggles with Orisis and the Devil Pull, and then finishing with an Eryx slam. They could have also implemented properties for his angel and devil weapons: angel weapons get more people at once while gaining less AP, while devil weapons focus more on one person while gaining more AP.
I appreciate that Dante's playstyle was left for more experienced players, but there's just so much more potential to be realized with it.
