Dante Move Changes (Please look if you like Dante)

-I think Dantes down square (Arbiter) should do his little three hit combo from the game, instead of just one hit, or be a guard breaker, since in the game it is a heavy weapon that can break enemies sheilds.

 

-I think Dantes up and down grab should show him punch with Eryx (his guanlets from the game)

 

-I think Dantes side grab should show him shoot with Revenant (his shotgun) instead of a kick.

I don't see how they DIDNT make his side square or side triangle or side cicrcle his signature stinger move. That SHOULD have been in this game. I cannot believe the did not put it in.

I can care less how Dante is changed, but I deffinately feel something needs to be done about his Guns... 

 

They do very little to almost no Damage to enemies at all, & People can bardge right through them 

& it would just apear they have no effect... 

 

I have used them, & they do work, but i've noticed that is a Rare accurence... 

 

They need to fix his Guns... 

 

Am I wrong? Are his Guns not his weakest Attack Move?

They aren't a standalone attack like most others, you pepper in gunshots in the middle of his combos, fittingly like in the Devil May Cry series. Here are a few examples; 3 minute youtube clip.

In the Devil May Cry Series I can combo from any attack into any attack. That and the guns have a stun on hit in DMC and DmC. Your comparison is a pretty bad one since playing Dante isn't like playing DMC or DmC.

You could, but it's not optimal, they're weak weapons and are only used to boost your combo meter in between physical attacks. It 's the same premise in this game, you could start with a pistol rush and cancel into an angel boost/axe, but it's much more efficient if you started with a standard three hit combo to get more AP out of it.

 

Their purpose in this game an active cancel that gains AP without kicking in the infinite avoidance system. Most people that stick to FFA fights find this useless, as it's difficult to get halfway through a combo without someone interrupting, but in 2v2 and 1v1 it seperates the best Dantes from the rest.
