Not just that, his barell needs a massive fix, it shouldn't bounce and it should blow as soon as it touches anything after it starts rolling, it can even take an air force push from evil cole also the hit range should decrease because when you dodge it it still hits you, and in case you do dodge it there's drake with the gun.

Are you all serious lol. He has one of the most steady ap gains in the game even if you abuse his "overpowered" tactics. He gets his level 3 in my experience with just over a minute usually he is fine.

As someone who mains Drake - and I do so because Uncharted is my favorite Sony game after Legend of Dragoon - I'd say the only tool he has that I think is legitimately over-powered is the AP-Gain on the barrel (and the gun-loop, but I don't use it so it's a non-issue for me).

 

The Oil Drum gains 10 AP per target it rolls into and 30 AP on explosion (then there's the bonus for rolling it into crowds). For a projectile that big and that long-lasting, that's able to sweep people off the ground for a possible insta-kill, AP-gain like that seems like a bit much.

 

Reduce the tripping bonus to 5 and the explosion to 20 and we're good. Drake is perfect at that point.

Honestly I think 10 and 30 is ok people usually avoid the trip, and I didn't know about the bonus for groups.

^ But in tandem with the relatively short wait-time between barrels and the size/length of the explosion, it can be needlessly difficult to chase him down (and I'll be honest: running and poking/being annoying is a pretty common strategy for me and I still think the barrel gets too much AP). I really don't like feeling guilty using the barrel.

 

I'd rather keep the wait-time as-is, so it's either decrease the AP or increase the wait-time.

Yeah that video didn't change my mind at all, and "short-wait time" you can only use a new one when the last one explodes. On top of that it varies by level how long it will stay out I think that's fine, and I still think the ap gain is fine. It's not a matter of it being overpowered its a matter of people whining because it hits them, and they don't try to avoid it.
