Crash Bandicoot in gap in Omar's logic

22 replies 394 views Edited Oct 6, 2012

Now he said that there are 20 characters on disk, at launch

when asked about Crash, he said that "it takes two to tango," that its not for free
all these things hinting towards that crash is not in
so why not just say so?
why not just say "crash is not in the game at launch"

if you put two and two together, yes, it is clear that NO ONE else, including crash, is in
so why didnt he say so?

that makes me think they have him somehow or somthing, maybe DLC, maybe secret unlockable

He already said that there are no more characters at launch. How much clearer do you want him to make it?

i know what he said, all im asking is why wouldnt he just say
"unfortunatly, we were un-able to get crash bandicoot"
all he said it was hard to get him

so yes, not hidden in the game, i guess maybe a quick DLC?
maybe they have the rights to him, but only if the game does well with good reviews, only then does activision give rights to have him in?

Same reason he said "stay tuned" to every character question or he said "more than 20 characters". Just to keep some people hopeful and hyped up. Or to get some to buy the game in an effort to "support" the game so that it gets DLC. In any case, you're setting yourself up for disappointment.

There's no gap in the logic. If Omar says there are only 20 characters and Crash Bandicoot is not among those 20 characters, you don't need Omar to explicitly state "NO BANDICOOT HERE" to know that Crash isn't there. He also stated that there are no plans for DLC at all until fans show support. No Crash at the moment, period.

if crash was in crash was supposed to be advertisementer of the game not as parappa because there is no crash they always used parappa. parappa wasnt most remember rep for ps1 ( notremember) anyway because no crash he always used him and announced him in first six
look kratos : most popular
parappa : for ps1 fans(no ps1 fans love him (ps1 fans love cloud crash tomb raider rayman heihachi(or jin) scorpion, snake)
fat princess: because a girl(they didnt want announce nariko at first launch)
sly(the worst of trio of platormer so fans can be hype about jak and ratchet)
sweeoth(icon of ps1 but not fans love char anyway good icon)
radec(one of good char in ps3)

if they can get whatever they want first six
1-crash(one of most iconic in the game history)
2-cloud
3-kratos
4-solid snake
5-fat princess
6-jak daxter

first six

Sly Cooper is the worst of the three platformers ? You are sadly mistaken.

If I had to put it in order, Sly would most probably be at the top.
