Content

[ Edited ]

This is what I'm going to use as a 'Catalogue'. A lot of people say there is not enough content in the game and by me providing this lengthy list I'm hoping to turn some more heads. I'm an avid fighting game player and I'm absolutely stoked to see this much. Actual facts will be labeled with an asterik.

  • -There are 20 playable characters when the game will be released.*
  • -There will be 20 stages upon release.* (14 Crossover Stages, 6 Practice Stages)
  • -There are at least one unlockable costume per character.* (Possible Two)
  • -If you count the Preorder DLC and the default, each character has 3 costumes.*
  • -Each costume has around 4 colors.*
  • -Doing the math, this results in 20x3x4, resulting in 240 different playable appearances.*
  • -There is a minion for each game, resulting in 20 minions.*
  • -Minions will be interchangable between characters. (rumored)
  • -There is a leveling system for each character.*
  • -Said leveling system will determine the unlocks for that character.*
  • -There is a Single Player Mode, Offline Multiplayer, Online Multiplayer, Training Mode, and a Tutorial Mode. Rumored King of the Hill, Capture the Flag, and a 'Free Roam'.
  • -Each character has at least one unlockable Intro Animation, Outro Animation for both winning and losing, and Victory Theme.*
  • -There are a number of randomized items that will appear on a stage.*
  • -There is a way to turn items on and off.*
  • -The last 4 characters (By this I mean Nariko, Sir Daniel Fortesque, Raiden, and Evil Cole) were supposed to be announced later down the line; however due to an in-house leak of content they were shown off early. This is why we are going two months without any announcements.*
  • -It is likely there will be DLC; its possible that they are full characters, its also possible that there are just costumes.
  • -The Playstation Vita version of the game is supposidly as strong as the Playstation 3 version save for some framerate issues.

Re: Content

There are more than 14 playable stages, though.

Re: Content

I counted 14 last time I checked. How many were there? I'll update the first post.

Re: Content

In game modes, you gorgot about Capture the Flag and King of the hill. ( both are rumored, they were game modes that appeared in the beta leak. )

It was confirmed in one of the earlier interviews that it is possible to turn items on and off.

Re: Content

I thought the Rival Stage was just one of the Training Stages; does anyone have any footage of that?
