I watched the entire panel, the one thing I was confused about was when they talked bout stopping a super. They said word for word, that you can stop one with a quick attack. I was wondering if he meant normal quick attack, or specific quick attacks? On your post here it says stop with another super. In the vid, they only show supers being stopped by other supers. So is it true that its only quick supers that stop other supers and not normal quick attacks? If this is so, I don't really like it. There needs to be some kind of balance. The supers are high priority, they are unblockable. Yes you can dodge them(except certain lvl 3's), but from an offensive stand point, is a super the only way?
I'm assuming he means a regular quick attack like a Jab or something. Depends if supers get some type of super armor at startup against regular attacks. But I doubt that lvl 1's have super armor.
They probably meant you can counter a super overall. Like, if Radec's uses his lvl 1 and Sly interupts it quickly with a Jab. And another example would be if Sly used his lvl 1 and Radec quickly interupts with his own lvl 1/2/3. It's only examples but, I'm sure it's what they meant. I'm not positive whether every lvl 1 super has the same startup lag. Should be interesting to look into.
What I also noticed from the panel is that they talked heavily bout "their" normal mode of fighting. I'm fine with this new type of fighting based on super and kills, but when they first premiered the game, they also said there would be a traditional mode, they also said it in the ps blog. Has this been scrapped? Do they only want to keep their new mode?
