As I continue to play PSASBR I have to wonder why they did not put in most of the advanced tactics in the game from SSB. Those advanced tactics seperated the skill of players by alot and it make the game much more intense. There is no land sliding or any of the sort, no fast falling, no L-cancelling, no short hop into aerial, no grabbing while blocking, one shrine (spike), no dashing, no power shielding, no teching etc. Im sure that i missed alot please add to the list if you deem it neccasary.

Assuming I understand correctly, short hop into aerial and teching are in this game.
You have to realize they're trying to not be Smash Bros, too.
Short hopping into a down aerial works with most characters but it shouldnt be JUST down aerials. And I havent experienced any teching at all. I understand they arent trying to be SSB but it seems as though the gap between great and bad players isnt going to be that big.

why did you link this? there is no teching in this. what this guy says is teching is just getting off of the ground -.- teching is used to KEEP yourself off the ground.

jumping and L1 seems like it makes you stay off the ground a while,
but what do i care, i'm not a competitive player...

Thats air dodging and yes that is an advanced tactic that they included (thank god). Teching is when you are about to be knocked onto a wall, ceiling or ground and right before you land you press the block button and you instantly recover.

A lot of those tactics would do little for this game with its design...
Care to explain? Because I personally think a few would but not a lot
