I see what you are saying. He could probably take out most of the long range characters pretty easily. Radec would not stand a chance

But in a FFA most of his combos are going to get interrupted. He seems like a very 1v1 centric character, considering he has a counter instead of a block. Combine that with a few attacks that let him close the gap really quickly and you've got someone who's tricky to beat by yourself.
I'd like to think I might have a chance while playing as Radec though. I specialised with him in the beta and rarely ever lost, but Raiden will be in a league of his own when it comes to 1v1.

Kratos was the most noob-friendly character in the beta, so the majority of players were drawn to him. He only really had 1 overpowered move (forward square).
And as for Raiden, time will tell. Omar did pretty well against Clock in 1v1.

Yes but this game appeals to every auidience to every age and more skilled players have a big advantage.... Even halo 4 does it if your a low level and go into a quick match you join the winning team.... If there's room
This can be made as an option and be turned ON if necessary. By default it should not let you do this, but an option that says "Lower AP gain of leading player" "ON | OFF".
This way tournaments will always play with this OFF and party/casuals can turn this ON if necessary. by default, I think it should be OFF.
I think the most accessibility should be towards controls. Don't make it ridiculously difficult to pull off decent combos, sure there can be some difficult to pull off skill based combos, but they should not be that if you cannot pull of certain combos you are not likely to win.
Also I feel more people complained about Radec and his "spam" in the BETA. As a Radec player myself (who doesn't just spam) this was what I expected from such people. I just hope SuperBot doesn't nerf Radec. He is already arguably less effective in non-horizontal arenas.

This to watch out for are the "pits" of this game
When everyone picks Brawl for the first time, in a 1v1v1v1, they often flock to pit because of his spammable moves
each individual character should not have any overpowered moves
when i played brawl, i played a pretty good pitt, barely touching his side B, but got turned off him because of pick-up players thinking they were "good" in a 1v1v1v1 because they could camp and had great recovery
so now im toon link ![]()
but in this game, it looks like theyre trying to prevent this, by making no one move a nececity (except radec)

Radec has a bouncy grenade to throw into pits. Only noob Radecs end up doing nothing but sniper spam the whole match.
But yes, Radec is definitely most effective on horizontally flat stages.
I ment Pit as in the character hehe ![]()
but thats the point im making, for this game to do VERY well, it needs to appeal to good players, and the noobs ![]()
