Re: Character Sprites/Models

But it has to be showing the same amount of 'map' as the ps3 version would. Otherwise, PS3 owners may have the advantage. It's like if the vita version only showed your character, and it filled the screen, like super zoom, while the ps3 one has the full screen. See what I mean?

I've thought the same thing. I hope the camera gets some tweaks to bring out the characters more. I feel like the characters seems so small you can't really even enjoy the artwork or animations to know what's going on. I've thought to myself Brawl does look better graphically and I'm worried it's the Vita that's keeping the PS3 version from looking stunning.

I agree OP

They are smaller and not as clear as Smash Bros

I see what you're saying, but I'm not looking for a SSB Visual Clone.

The HD gameplay footage I've seen isn't as bad as you make it out to be.

"I'm not looking for a SSB Visual Clone."
It's not about that, it's about it being clear enough for gameplay reasons

It's not good looking from a gameplay perspective, not a 'is it pretty' perspective

Nobody can say if it looks good or not yet really because you haven't played it yet. But Isaw it being played fullscreen on my tv during Evo and I gotta say it looks terrific.

You dont have to play a game to see what it looks like

pictures and videos exist

Yeah, of course but once you actually play a game, it's a whole different experience.

Not a whole different experiences visually

MeleeXPlaystation.jpg

I tried to get the 2 Falcons 6 characters apart which is how far I think Kratos and Sly are apart

You can see the PABR characters are slightly smaller, but the real problem is the color pallet making it all blur/blend together

It is definitely not as visually clear as Smash Bros
