Character Sprites/Models

Am I the only one that thinks the character sprites are WAY too small?

< Example look here. It looks like the boxes are taller than Fat Princess & Sly! Parappa is just tall enough to have the tip of his hat taller. But they are way too small. Now let's look at SSBB.

The sprites are way bigger and they stand out from the background. Easy to see, not too big so they don't look like giants, and they look great. Even graphical wise they look better but let's not go there!

See what I mean?

The boxes are bigger than you think, it's not that they're too small, it's just that the screen isn't zoomed in enough.

And they should do something about that.

The first reply has it right. In smash brothers, the have smaller fields, hence the larger character sprites.

This game gives a greater playing feild space, that's why the characters seem so small.

Each stage that I'd seen look to be almost as big as 'TEMPLE' form Melee

True, if you think about it.
Maybe its just different camera angles giving off different size illusions

It's kind of sad. In my opinion, SSBB is actually more visually appealing than PS All Stars, simply because it's so vibrant and colorful. All-Stars looks nice but the colors seem a bit muddy.

I hope this game gets a ton of polish done before the release.

Smaller models means more playing surface.

What you said!

Also, though, I'm kinda worried; if you watch a gameplay video (non-recorded, yet screencaptured,) you can see that it kinda zooms out on occasions... I wonder how that would be on the vita? Obviously the same screen shows (Sizes, and what-not, we don't want any ps3-player advantages now do we? Haha!) So your character would look pretty small when it zooms out haha!
